No. i-Irvana Max has an integrated base and doesn't require the additional purchase of a base for installation.

As an extended harness car seat, i-Irvana Max can be used in harness mode from 15 months and 76 cm to 125 cm (approx. 7 years). As a belted booster, i-Irvana Max can be used from 100 cm to 150 cm (approx. 3.5 to 12 years)
How do you install this car seat?
i-Irvana Max is installed with the ISOFIX connectors in its integrated base as well as top tether for an easy and secure installation in harness mode. In belted booster mode, i-Irvana Max is installed with the vehicle belt and has the option to use ISOFIX to secure it to the seat. Please see our instructional video that demonstrates how to install this car seat.
Which pushchairs is this seat compatible with?
i-Irvana Max is not compatible with any pushchairs.
How do I clean this seat's covers when they are dirty?
You can spot clean light marks with gentle cleaners. For heavier dirt, covers are removable and machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Do not place fabrics in the dryer - hang dry only. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron them.
Why is there no infant insert for this seat?
This car seat is not suitable for use from birth and can only be used when child is both 15 months old and 76 cm tall. If you are looking for a multi-stage car seat suitable for use from birth, please see our toddler and child car seats with options offering use from birth through approx. 12 years.
Can this car seat be used on a flight?
i-Irvana Max is not airline approved for use in-flight.
