Q: How do you convert ginger's ™ seat from toddler seat to pramette mode?

A: Place the seat in the direction you want your child to face (you or the world). Recline the seat as far as it can go. Raise the leg support to be even with the rest of the frame. Underneath the leg support is a buckle, unbuckle and flatten out the pramette. To go from pramette to toddler seat, do the reverse actions.

Q: Can the ginger's™ adjustable seat be moved up and down while it is occupied?

A: Your child can be in the seat while the height is adjusted. The difficulty of this will depend on the weight of your child.

Q: Can ginger™ be used with a car seat?

A: Joie infant car seats easily attach to ginger with the included adaptors. The infant car seats are sold separately, or the ginger can be purchased as a travel system.

Q: What’s the best way to install my saffron™ SI?

A: If the seating position you’re using has dedicated lower anchors, we recommend using them to install saffron™ SI rear-facing. You can use the push-button LATCH connectors the entire time your child is rear-facing. You can also use the lower anchors when forward-facing up until your child weighs 45 lb., after which you need to switch to a seatbelt installation. The tether should be used at all times when forward-facing.

Q: I purchased a Joie car seat but the “Do Not Open Seal” seal is broken, and the box has already been opened. Is it still safe to use?

A: No. If the "Do Not Open Seal” seal is broken and the box has previously been opened, the seat is no longer safe to use. Please return it to the point of purchase for a refund or replacement.

Q: Are savvy™ and savvy™ lite safe for my baby's hips?

A:  Yes! Joie carriers have been certified hip-healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. Optimal support lets your little one sit smart in an ergonomic M-shaped position that promotes healthy spine and hip development. With baby’s knees raised and hips opened, they’ll be perfectly positioned for both cuddling and growing.
