Installation
- ISOFIX and load leg are used in harness mode while rearfacing and forward facing
- ISOFIX only is used for booster mode - harness and load leg are stored away within the seat
- 21 position load leg ensures the car seat is stabilized in various vehicle makes and models

Has this seat been ADAC tested?
Yes! i-Spin XL has been tested by the independent German safety testing organization ADAC, known for their rigorous crash testing that goes above & beyond even the highest EU legislation crash testing requirements. i-Spin XL scored an impressive 2.4 in crash tests with remarks for very low risk of injury in a side impact collision.
Does this car seat require a base for installation?
No. i-Spin XL has an integrated base and requires no additional base purchases for installation.
What is the maximum height and weight usage for this car seat?
The maximum height and weight for use in rear-facing mode is 105 cm and 18 kg, or approx. 4 years. i-Spin XL can be used in forward facing mode with the 5-point harness from 76 cm to 105 cm and 18 kg, or 15 months to approx. 4 years. As a belted booster, i-Spin XL can be used from 100 cm to 150 cm and 36 kg, or approx. 3.5 to 12 years.
How do you install this car seat?
ISOFIX and load leg are used to install i-Spin XL while rear-facing and forward facing when using the harness. ISOFIX only is used to install i-Spin XL while using in belted booster mode. Please see our instructional video that demonstrates how to install the i-Spin XL car seat.
Which pushchairs is i-Spin XL compatible with?
Due to the integrated base, i-Spin XL is not compatible with pushchairs and cannot be used as a travel system.
How do I clean this seat's covers when they are dirty?
You can spot clean light marks with gentle cleaners. For heavier dirt, covers are removable and machine washable in cold water on the delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Do not bleach, dry clean, or iron them.
When do I remove the infant insert from this seat?
The infant insert adds side protection for your baby and we recommend using the infant insert while your littlie is under 60 cm or until they outgrow the insert. You can remove the infant insert when your child's shoulders no longer fit comfortably and they are starting to look cramped or restricted.
Can this car seat be used on a flight?
i-Spin XL is not airline approved for use in-flight.

OutstandingThis is an outstanding seat. Our daughter got one first and then we thought we would get one for our car save changing seats. The quality is second to none. It is easily fitted and operated making it easy to get the baby in and out. Yes it is expensive but it will last until they are old enough to not require a booster seat. An outstanding product by clearly a great company. Can highly recommend.

Super, aber sehr breitWir sind bisher super zufrieden. Er ließ sich leicht und instinktiv einbauen. Unser Kind fühlt sich Sau wohl. Einziger Minuspunkt, er ist super schwer und echt breit. Da wir zwei Kinder haben ist dann hinten wirklich final kein Platz mehr für einen dritten Mitfahrer, oder auch drittes Kind. Das Gewicht ist unrelevant, wenn man ihn dann einmal eingebaut hat. Und er muss ja auch alle Altersstufen abdecken, deswegen verständlich, sollte man aber vorm Kauf beachten.

ZufriedenIch bin nach einer Woche Benutzung bisher zufrieden mit dem Kindersitz. Mein Kind ist aber auch schon 1 Jahr alt. Für Neugeborene/Babys finde ich die Liegeposition aber nicht flach genug.
