Comfortable but seat belt not well designedIt's a very comfortable seat for the children but the seat belt is very badly designed. Every time we take several minutes to buckle up the child just because the seat belt is sliding or because we need to do it with our two hands. It is very annoying. Absolutely not recommended the Joie brand!!!After the straps of the 5-point belt on the first child seat (Spin 360 GT didn't last 2 years either) were frayed and could no longer be tightened properly, we bought a Joie child seat for the second time. After less than 2 years there is no way to repair it - very pathetic for a child seat that is supposed to last until the child is 12 years old. The Styrofoam inserts are broken in several places and the straps are also frayed again. It was only after several phone calls with our dealer that Joie's customer service was pressured into offering a laughable goodwill compensation. I think you can expect more from such a well-known brand. For us, the Joie brand is no longer an option; we would rather use one of the well-known traditional brands that can at least repair things and the quality is right. How can it happen that the Styrofoam breaks and the straps fray after less than 2 years. Unbelievable something like that with a child seat. It's a shame that ADAC doesn't do any long-term tests. Safe and well made but not super easy to use.We bought this seat for a second car and one that we would fly with. We actually misunderstood that it could be seat belt mounted without the isofix (for hire cars possibly lacking the isofix) but this isn't the case - on the contrary the instructions say to thread the seat belt in AS WELL as the isofix presumably for redundancy. Makes installing it a little more fiddly but fine when the seat isn't being moved from car to car frequently. Well built and everything works with high quality and the cup holder is a great addition however 2 main bugbears are:1.) The padding on the crotch buckle falls off every time I take my child out of the seat because it's just held on loosely with elastic very irritating but not a showstopper.2.) It's very difficult to keep the straps and crotch buckle out of the way when loading the child in they just end up sitting on everything also very irritating. Our other seat by Maxi-Cosy has a clever spring system that keeps everything out of the way when not buckled down - this chair would greatly benefit from something like that.
